Vertical Peeler Discharge Centrifuge

Operating Principle

The motor drives the rotary basket to rotate around the axle center of main shaft through drive system, thus forming field of centrifugal force. The separated suspension enters rotary basket from top feed tube, falls on the rotating conical distributor and is thrown toward to rotary basket wall under action of centrifugal force. The liquid phase is thrown to housing space through filter screen and filter holes on the basket wall, collected within chassis and discharged through drain tube, whereas the solid phase remains within the inner side of filter cloth. If the product requires washing, then the washing water is filled through washing tube for washing. After dewatering finishes, the rotary basket rotates at a reduced speed, and then compressed air source is connected. Under action of cylinder piston the peeler first rotates to feed, then moves from upper part to lower part to scrape the sludge cake layer by layer, which is discharged through the discharge port at bottom of rotary basket. After discharges finishes, peeler is reset, the rotary basket rises up to rotating speed for feeding, thus enters next cycle.

Main features

1)The whole operating process adopts PLC and touch screen computer program configuration, semiautomatic or fully automatic operation, frequency converter drive, speed of feeding, dewatering and discharging can be optimally configured according to different products, can handle a variety of mixed suspension by selecting proper filter media.

2)Pneumatic control, automatic peeler discharge, operator is fully in no contact with the product, complies with clean and sanitary requirements of medicine and food fields.

3)Can be configured according to requirements, suitable for treatment of sensitive, toxic, harmful, inflammable and explosive products that require hermetical seal, explosion protection and safety.

4)Specially designed feeding (washing) device, can guarantee uniform distribution along direction of rotary basket height during feeding and uniform washing along sludge cake layer during washing, which can avoid vibration due to uneven feeding on one hand and can prevent slurry or washing liquid from splashing into the cake bin.

5)Adopts advanced radio-frequency level detection technology, it can detect the level when the feed reaches set scale, the feed valve automatically closes to prevent overflow.

6)Complies with GMP code of drugs, can realize CIP inline cleaning. Fully open design of upper cover or housing, easy to thoroughly clean and inspect.

7) Mounting On inertia platform with dampers, for reducing the dynamic loads.
